Award-winning actress Sabrina Culver holds both United States and Netherlands passports and was born in Cleveland , Ohio to a Scottish mother and Dutch American father .She moved with her family at a young age to Westfield , New Jersey where she became active in local theatre and landed her first modeling and TV commercial spots while still in middle school . She graduated from St. Luke's School in New Canaan, Ct where she studied classical piano and majored in Musical Theatre at Emerson College
